Trump is using dogs to convince Americans that he cares about anyone besides himself, but we are not fooled. He spread a lie that immigrants in Ohio are eating dogs in order to seem sympathetic and human, but it failed. He uses “dog” as an insult. He has multiple homes and not one houses a dog. He at one point considered a running mate who openly admitted and bragged about shooting her one year old dog!
Perhaps he doesn’t like that dogs can smell fear, that when you are an alpha dog, you make eye contact. Dogs watched Trump debate Harris, and they saw his inability to look her in the eyes. They can see that he is a beta, a weak little man, and he hates that.
You know who doesn’t hate dogs? Kamala Harris. Maybe because for Kamala, “like a dog” isn’t an insult – it’s a badge of honor. As a prosecutor, she stands by your side, watching out for you and making sure your home, family, and community are safe.
She’s a good human.
