Our Mission
Oakland Corps is dedicated to defending democracy and dedicated to standing in solidarity with Oakland-born Kamala Harris. We believe in a united America where every voice counts and are committed to fighting against the forces that seek to divide us. Our mission is critical: to prevent a second Trump term and to ensure that true American values win this November.
To win the election, we must also win the 2024 information war. Oakland Corps will target the small number of undecided and swing voters in key states. We are committed to supporting groups countering the disinformation and lies propagated by the MAGA movement, mobilizing our base, and persuading the undecided with clear, fact-based messaging.
We are in a Critical Moment. A few uncommitted voters will decide the outcome. These individuals will make their minds up in the last few weeks of the election. These individuals are among the hardest to win over and are resistant to traditional tactics and communications. Owning the information space where they are making this decision is critical.
